[Class 35.] In a split-phase motor machine of the type described in the parent Specification, having a fixed capacity 4 permanently in series with an auxiliary winding, the auxiliary winding is in two sections 2, 3, the section 2 being permanently in circuit. The section 3 is in series with the section 2 and the capacity 4 for starting, but is disconnected by the switch 5 for running.
