405,105. Induction machines. ENGLISH ELECTRIC CO., Ltd., 28, Kingsway, London, ROBERTS, L., and BALL, R. D., Phoenix Works, Bradford, Yorkshire. Jan. 12, 1933, No. 1130. Addition to 386,512. [Class 35.] In a split-phase motor machine of the type described in the parent Specification, having a fixed capacity 4 permanently in series with an auxiliary winding, the auxiliary winding is in two sections 2, 3, the section 2 being permanently in circuit. The section 3 is in series with the section 2 and the capacity 4 for starting, but is disconnected by the switch 5 for running.
