[Class 20 (i).] The canvas covering A of a ridge tent is supported by a flexible framework comprising two or more cross-members B mounted upon a plurality of cables or tapes C, the frame being supported by two poles E placed externally of the tent. The cables C may be of wire, rope, cord, or of canvas webbing, and may be threaded through the cross-members and held in place thereon by knots or wooden buttons. The tent pole and covering are anchored in the usual manner by guy-ropes F, H, and tent pegs G, K.
