Abstract

509,532. Cleats; cord fastenings. GODFREY, J. B. June 14, 1938, No. 17625. [Classes 44 and 109] A tent or marquee is anchored by pegs 8 which are hooked into a piece of stout metal wire 1 or chain loosely attached to a rope loop 10. The bight of the loop lies behind the peg so that the pull on the peg tends to tighten it. The rope ends may be passed through a rigid bar 4 and through eyelets 5 in the tent material and be knotted.
