Abstract
402,418. Fluorescent screens. ARDENNE, M. VON, 19, Jungfernstieg, Lichterfelde Ost, Berlin. March 21, 1932, No. 25068/33. Convention date, March 27, 1931. Divided on 402,411. [Class 98 (i).] Fluorescent screens of cathode-ray tubes for television &c. are made by painting a binding agent on to a supporting surface and allowing it to run to form an even layer, and then applying the fluorescent material in finely divided form by a nozzle so that the crystalline structure of this material is maintained and that the cathode-ray can strike this material without penetrating a layer of binding agent. Specifications 387,536, [Group XL], and 402,411 are referred to.
