Abstract
402,214. Discharge apparatus. TELEFUNKEN GES. FUR DRAHTLOSE TELEGRAPHIE, 12, Hallesches Ufer, Berlin. Sept. 12, 1932, No. 25360. Convention date, Sept. 11, 1931. [Class 39 (i).] The getter material Q is located on the sides, remote from the anode A, of plates M, which are electrically and thermally insulated from the electrodes and are obliquely disposed relatively to the axis of the electrode below the anode. The getter is vaporised by high-frequency currents simultaneously with the heating of the metal parts to remove occluded gases.
