Abstract
401,545. Screwing-up screws. BOSCH AKT.-GES., R., 4, Militarstrasse, Stuttgart, Germany. Feb. 17, 1933, No. 4896. Convention date, Feb. 29, 1932. [Class 83 (iii).] Electrically driven screwdriver having a motor built in the handle driving the spindle of the screw-driver through gearing is characterised by the screw-driver spindle and motor shaft being arranged coaxially. An electric motor b carried by the handle a has a shaft c carrying a flywheel e and pinion f, the latter drives through further gearing the screw-driver spindle m the axial thrust of which is taken by the rounded end of the armature shaft. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 318,623 and 335,853 [both in Class 83 (iii), Metals, Cutting].
