411,494. Portable drilling &c. machines. BOSCH AKT.-GES., R., 4, Militarstrasse, Stuttgart, Germany. Nov. 11, 1933, No. 31456. Convention date, Dec. 12, 1932. [Class 83 (iii).] An electrically-driven portable drilling or like tool having a tool spindle coaxial with a motor shaft is characterized in that the motor shaft and tool shaft are positively connected by a coupling giving a limited amount of resilient angular movement. A rubber disc g, Fig. 4, with an opening i is secured by screws in the recess of a wheel f which may have vanes to act as a fan. A sleeve-piece secured to the tool spindle has a flat end k, Fig. 6, which engages the opening in the rubber disc to effect the drive.
