626,869. Grinding; sawing. AGUSTONI, R. Aug. 26, 1946, No. 25428. [Classes 60 and 145 (ii) [Also in Group XXII] In a portable electrically - driven machine tool comprising a motor-driven shaft 3 adapted to drive any selected one e.g. a grinding wheel 26, of a plurality of interchangeable tools at least some of which consist of a stationary and a movable part, the machine tool casing comprises a rotatable ring 14 including a threaded portion or a bayonet joint slot for attachment of the stationary part of a tool e.g. the part 29 of a reciprocating sawing machine, Fig. 7, or the part 30 of an angle attachment, Fig. 8, the shaft 3 which is mounted in ball bearings 4, 5, Fig. 2, having a conical or conical-cylindrical bore for centring the shaft 22 of the tool which has a tang-end drive. In the angle attachment, the tool is attached to a shaft 3a which is driven from the shaft 22 by means of a flexible shaft.
