Abstract

400,092. Fluid - actuated valves. BOSCH AKT.-GES., R., 4, Militõrstrasse, Stuttgart, Germany. April 6, 1933, No. 10277. Convention date, April 27, 1932. [Class 135.] Valves controlled by pilot or relay valves.- In a diaphragm control valve of the type operated by variations in pressure in a control chamber 7 on one side of the diaphragm, the other side of which is subject to main pressure, the diaphragm 6 is mounted within the cover 8 independently of the fluidtight joint between the cover and the casing 1. In the form shown the diaphragm 6 is held in the cover by a screwed ring 17. The main valve 5 is opened by reducing the pressure in the chamber 7 by opening a control valve 15. Pressure is conveyed from the inlet 2 to the chamber 7 by a branch pipe 9.
