Convention date, March 16, 1931. [Class 38 (iv).] A circuit-breaker 13 at the network end of a feeder 2 may be tripped by connecting one phase of the feeder to earth by closing a switch 30 or 31 at the supply end. The tripping means are energized by closure of a relay 27 energized from the secondary of a potential transformer 26, the primary of which is of high impedance, and is connected between earth and the neutral point of the primary of a step-down transformer 20 connected in the feeder circuit.
