Abstract
394,341. Television receivers. COMPAGNIE POUR LA FABRICATION DES COMPTEURS ET MATERIEL D'USINES A GAZ, 12, Place des Etats-Unis, Montrouge, Seine, France. Dec. 21, 1931, No. 35362. Convention date, Dec. 20, 1930. [Classes 39 (i), 40 (iii), and 40 (v).] A television receiver comprises a cathoderay oscillograph T, Fig. 1, separated from a glow-discharge tube N by a semi-conducting partition P, such as a glass sheet coated or impregnated with a metallic oxide, or a slice of agate. The cathode ray f produces a glow discharge between its point of impact on the semi-conductor P and the annular anode :AD. Reference is also made.to the use of a large number of conductors embedded in an insulating wall to replace the partition P. According to the Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 the cathode-ray tube T, Fig. 1 (Cancelled), and the glow tube N may be separate chambers, each chamber having a wall containing the conductors W and the two sets of conductors being electrically connected. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
