Abstract

<PICT:0392555/III/1> In homogenizing-apparatus for making artificial cream, wherein the materials are delivered from a container c into a cylinder b and compressed by a piston a, the piston is driven from an electric motor k through reducing gear in a casing l and a pin f on a crank disc g engaging a slot e in a bell-crank lever d connected to the piston, the direction of rotation being such that the pressure stroke is the more rapid. The slot e and the arm containing it is preferably upwardly curved as shown and the pin f preferably engages the slot e through a flanged anti-friction roller h.
