[Class 120 (ii).] In drawing-apparatus, particularly for worsted, schappe silk, artificial silk, ramie, and the like, having an endless conveyer band running over driven bottom rollers and a guide roller and arranged between a pair of feed rollers and a pair of delivery rollers, a guide roller k is arranged below a gripping- roller p as shown, or is of such diameter that the belt embraces an arc and the path of the sliver forms an obtuse angle. The tension of the band is maintained by adjustment of the roller h or by a loaded pulley o.
