Convention date, July 9, 1930. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. [Class 64 (ii).] A radiator for heating buildings comprises a flat hollow plate d, Fig. 1, with transverse webs c forming a tortuous channel for heating fluid from inlet a to outlet b. The side plates may be bent over at the ends and welded together. In a modification, Fig. 4, the webs i may be inclined and be provided with passages k for the heating fluid. In another modification, Figs. 6 and 7 (not shown), the webs may be formed of a corrugated plate extending from side to side of the radiator, and perforated. In another modification, Fig. 8, the radiator may contain a plate l with indentations n, or two such indented plates may be used. In another form, Figs. 11 and 12, (not shown) the indentations may be in the form of grooves extending partly across the radiator from each side alternately, to form a tortuous, channel.
