Abstract
356,279. Radiators for heating buildings. DOUCET, E. G., 13, Rue de Talleyrand, Reims, Marne, France. June 6, 1930, No. 17665. Convention date, June 6, 1929. [Class 64 (ii).] A radiator consists of a number of hollow rectangular stamped sheet metal elements b connected at opposite corners to inflow and outflow pipes a, h, and arranged parallel to a wall of the space to be heated. The sheets of an element may be stamped with. inwardly projecting vertical or horizontal ribs m, which may abut to form partitions in the element. Each rib may be divided along its length instead of being continuous as shown. Vertical plain metal plates are inserted in the air spaces between the elements. In a modification the ribs are replaced by corrugations, which may form sinuous passages in an element.
