Abstract
389,547. Mop wringers. McGRATH, M., Belleville, Castleknock, Co. Dublin, Irish Free State. Oct. 3, 1931, No. 27541. [Class 19.] A mop wringer, of the type in which two parallel rollers are mounted on a trav 1. shown in the Figure, with castors, have two upstanding brackets 5 to support a fixed roller 9 and guide a movable roller 12. The movable roller is operated by bell cranks 17, 18 connected to a treadle 20. Guideslots 10 may be made arcuate. The rollers are so placed as to be clear of a pail 13. The tray may be lengthened at one end by sliding extension pieces to prevent tipping. A handle 26 may be provided, or the tray may have handles like a wheelbarrow. In some cases, the tray may be oval to take two buckets. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 140,574, 185,702, and 232,798, [all in Class 19, Brushing &c.].
