Abstract

386,502. Locks. FEINSTAHLWERKE TRAISEN AKT.-GES. VORM. FISCHER, Traisen, Austria, GYORGY, L. and NANDOR, K., 6, Frangepan U., Budapest. April 27, 1932, No. 12138. Convention date, April 16. [Class 44.] In a sliding tumbler lock, the gatings of alternate tumblers are alike. The side gatings 9 are formed with notches 13 which in the oddnumbered tumblers 7 are below and in the other tumblers 8 are above the cross-gatings 11. These notches correspond to a notch in the bolt pin 14. Enlargements 12 are formed in the cross-gatings of the tumblers 8. During the operation of the lock, the tumblers 8 are raised so as to cover the keyhole. If the lock is tampered with, the bolt pin 14 may engage the notches 13 or the enlargements 12. The bolt is operated by a pivoted plate 5 which is turned by a key 6. The tumblers 7, 8 are guided by pins 17, 18.
