Abstract

265,322. Horncastle, F. H., and Jackson, H. Nov. 23, 1925. Lock mechanism trustee. -A lock has two bolts sliding at right-angles to each other and operated by separate keys, one bolt being the lock bolt and the other preventing withdrawal of the lock bolt till it is itself withdrawn. The lock bolt 6 is controlled by tumblers 16 and engages the striking-plate. The bolt 7 has a projection 9 which engages behind the heel of the lock bolt to block it. The bolt 7 must be withdrawn by one key before the bolt 6 can be withdrawn by the second key.
