Abstract

384,957. Steam superheaters. SUPERHEATER CO., Ltd., Bush House, Aldwych, London.-(Assignees of Gordon, C. W. ; Munster, Indiana, U.S.A.) Aug. 15, 1932, No. 22835. Convention date, Aug. 14, 1931. [Class 123 (iii).] A loop - tube superheater or the like is supported and its pipe lengths spaced apart by pairs of members 13, 17 secured to adjacent pipe lengths and in sliding interlocking engagement with one another. The socket member 17 welded to a pipe length 12 is formed with a slot 18 having overhanging parts 19 beneath which engage a head 14 on the member 13 welded to the adjacent pipe length 11. One end of the socket member is closed bv a transverse wall. The upper pipe lengths are engaged by hangers 8 suspended from cross beams 6 supported by the boiler tubes 1.
