352,064. Multitubular steam boilers. HUNTER, S. and HUNTER, H., of North Eastern Marine Engineering Co., Wallsendon-Tyne. April 3, 1930, No. 10595. Grant of Patent opposed. [Class 123 (ii).] In a steam generator comprising a central primary flue b and two return flues which communicate at their front ends with a flame box e in front of a series of fire tubes d, the fire tubes extend from the front plate a<2> to the .rear plate a<3> of the generator and the flame box extends upwardly over the front ends of the fire tubes. The flame chamber may be provided with steam superheaters k, and a smoke box h<1> with air preheaters.
