Abstract
383,078. Rotary compressors. HAUSERMANN, O., 9, Badweg, Frauenfeld, Switzerland. Dec. 1, 1931, No. 33331. [Class 110 (ii).] The inner casing 2 of a rotary pump is free to expand axially in one direction under temperature variations and thereby the clearances of the rotor 10 are kept substantially constant. The casing may be anchored by a flange 3 or be pressed into an annular groove in the end wall 17 by a spring applied to the other end of the casing. The inner bearing of the rotor is carried in the casing 2 which is held from rotation by a key 6 and the bearing is closed by a cover 12 which may be supported by a packing ring 14,
