Fixed-abutment type.- The diametrical vane i of a rotary pump is formed midway of its length with a transverse cylindrical sleeve k, which slides on a cylindrical plug h transversely pivoted on a stud g concentric with the pump casing; the vane is thus actuated independently of the peripheral wall of the casing. The rotor is provided with a flange extending inwardly to form an annular oil chamber into which the cylindrical plug h dips, the latter being formed with conical bores m. to permit oil to pass to the pivot stud g.
