Abstract
492,024. Rotary engines. SCHEIDER, F., and IHLBROCK, H. March 24, 1938, No. 9092. [Class 110 (ii)] Two rotors 2, 3 have pistons 5, 9, and recesses 10, 6, and working fluid entering through a port 7, when the latter is uncovered by a piston, is controlled by a valve which opens to admit fluid to a chamber outside the port 7, before the latter is uncovered by a piston. The expanding working space 14 is thus rapidly filled. The piston 5 has a radial dimension greater than that of the piston 9, and has a bevelled nose 15 to provide better sealing.
