Abstract
989,068. Rotary pumps. H. TEVES, E. A. TEVES, and M. TAUSEND, [trading as ALFRED TEVES MASCHINEN-UND ARMATURENFABRIK KOMM.-GES]. Aug. 18, 1961 [Oct. 6, 1960], No. 29892/61. Heading F1F. The cam plate 5 and end plates 3, 4 of a rotary vane pump are assembled with the rotor 2 and vane 6 contained in the space formed by these plates, before being fitted into the casing 1. The plates 3, 4, 5 are aligned and rigidly interconnected by means of a centring ring 10, which is a press fit on their outer diameter. Alternatively the plates may be aligned by conical pins. The plates may additionally be secured by screws passing through one end plate and the cam plate and engaging threaded bores in the other end plate.
