301,249. Gardner, L. F., (Armaturen- & Maschinenfabrik Akt.-Ges, vorm. J. A. Hilpert). Feb. 13, 1928. Centrifugal Sprengal pumps; regulating; pumping - machines.- A water ring pump is provided with an interchangeable liner ring 15 to form the eccentric chamber so that rotors 9 of different dimensions may be used in the same casing 3. The interchangeable liner ring 15 has associated with it an interchangeable port plate 16 to suit the corresponding size of rotor; the plate 16 may be integral with the ring 15 as shown in the figures. The water ring pump is housed in a casing member 3 adapted to be secured on a centrifugal pumpcasing and the rotor 9 is mounted on the shaft 2 of the latter.
