Abstract
380,366. Boxes for toilet paper. JEYES' SANITARY COMPOUNDS CO., Ltd. and GOSSLING, C. F., 99, Regent Street, London. March 4, 1932, No. 6592. [Class 18.] A box for holding toilet paper is formed in two parts secured together by a spring-pressed bolt and comprises the box proper b having a slot'through which the paper a is withdrawn, and a closure c. At one side the part b has an internal convex lug q adapted to hinge loosely in a recess in a lug, not shown, on part c, and at the opposite side the parts are fastened together by a bolt k passing through registering apertures in internal lugs d, formed respectively on the parts b, c. The bolt is shot by a spring l. Release is effected by a key o inserted through an aperture j in the wall of part band with a threaded end n adapted to screw into a socket k<2> in the bolt-head, the key being then pulled to withdraw the bolt against action of the spring. The bolt may have a flanged head with a flat k<3> bearing against a wall of the box to limit rotation of the bolt. The part c has upstanding guide lugs, not shown, to facilitate positioning the parts.
