[Class 18.] A pocket container for cosmetic powders comprises a tube with a distributing nozzle, Fig. 2, at one end and closed at its other end by a removable closure b, Fig. 4, with which is associated a spoon-shaped member m projecting into the tube and serving as a filling member. Preferably the inner end of the spoon-shaped member is cut away as shown ; and the cap b to which it is secured may screw into the container or be a frictional fit therein. An apertured cap c screws into the nozzle end of the container, and the aperture is normally closed by a member d pressed against it by a conical spring the end turns of which screw into the thread in the container. An extension h on the member d allows this member to make only slight movements in directions other than that along the axis of the tube. The container may have an octagonal cross section.
