[Class 18] A device for dispensing small quantities of pulverulent material such as snuff comprises a container 1 with an end opening 2 normally obturated by a plug 3 grooved at 3b and with a conical projection 3c. A spring 4 bearing against an abutment 5 normally keeps the opening 2 closed, but on pressing the extension 3c downwards against any object the powder emerges. A cap 6 closes a filling opening at the other end.
