Abstract

601,300. Powder distributers; stoppers. GRUNDY, C. M. L. Nov. 30, 1945, No. 32448. [Classes 18 and 125(iii)] A dispensing container for powdered condiments has a plunger 12 slidably extending through the base and influenced by a spring 14 so that the outlet in the cap 11 'is opened and closed respectively when the container is removed from and returned to a support. The spring 14 may be enclosed in and the plunger guided by a housing within the body 10, Fig. 3, (not shown), or it may be located between the base and an apertured end cap. In a modification, Fig. 4, the cap 11 has a plurality of apertures each closed by one of a number of plungers 19 on a common plunger stem 20 of square cross section. Specification 584,734 is referred to.
