Abstract

378,638. Spouts. FEAVER, Ltd., J. and WILLIAMS, F. W., 120, Tower Bridge Road, London. Aug. 7, 1931, No. 22442. [Class 66.] A rotatable spout provided with a pouring lip 3, for liquidcontaining vessels, is formed with an inturned flange 4 engaged frictionally in an annular groove 5 formed in a ring member 6 attached to the vessel around the outlet opening 10, the inner edge of the part 6 being folded downwardly, to form a seating 7 for a closure member 12 which may be covered with soft paper &c., and is held in place by the screwed closure plug 11. The seating 5, 7 may be formed from the metal of the vessel, the separate ring member being omitted, and the closure member 12 may be formed integral with the plug 11.
