Abstract

[Class 40 (i).] Meters embodying two fixed coil systems on a common core and individually supplied with current, and acti n g simultaneously upon a single movement, and employed with a potential divider to indicate liquid level, have a movement comprising a short-circuited member in which only induced currents circulate, the movable element having a falling torquedisplacement characteristic with respect to both fixed coils. The two fixed coils a, bare wound on a common iron circuit comprising two curved limbs d, e with a uniform air gap c, the moving coil f embracing the limb e.
