[Class 37.] Voltamperes on an unbalanced polyphase system are indicated, recorded or integrated by employing a current rectifier in each phase a, b, c, the voltage element of the instrument being the moving part and including two or more coils which carry currents out of phase with each other and are energised through full-wave rectifiers r, s, t. In a modification, two voltage rectifiers may be employed, one being connected with the neutral point which may be artificially made. The invention is adaptable for use on single-phase systems by inserting phaseshifting devices in the voltage coil leads.
