Abstract

376,831. Prismatic reflectors. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO., Ltd., Magnet House, Kingsway, London, and PEIRCE, M. W., of General Electric Co., Wembley, Middlesex. April 17, 1931, No. 11473. [Class 75 (ii).] In a reflector comprising a plurality of prisms in close juxtaposition and adapted to reflect light outwardly, the reflecting face of one or more of the prisms consists of two or more parts inclined to each other at a small angle. In the form shown in the Figure, the refracting faces A<2> B<1>, A<3> B<2> are made parallel to the incident rays so that all such rays fall directly on the reflecting surfaces A<1> C<1> B<1>, A<2> C<2> B<2> which are so formed that the rays reflected by one prism are not intercepted by the next prism.
