376,728. Casting composite articles. WADE, H., 111, Hatton Garden, London.- (Siemens-Schuckertwerke Akt.-Ges. ; Siemensstadt, Berlin.) March 2, 1931, No. 6462. [Class 83 (i).] Permanent magnets 3 for loud-speakers, relays, wireless apparatus, &c. are supported in holders 2 formed by die-casting about the body of the magnet. Such a device may be cast in a mould 9 having a cover 11. A slot is formed by a slide 13 with grooves 15 to receive the ends of the magnets and a stop 6 against which the sides of the magnets bear. The magnets are also held in place during casting by bolts 7 and pins 8. An enlargement 14 on the slide 13 forms a space through which a magnetizing conductor can be passed.
