376,205. Magnetos. BOSCH AKT.- GES., R., 4, Militõrstrasse, Stuttgart, Germany. Feb. 19, 1932, No. 4931. Convention date, April 29, 1931. [Class 35.] In a lighting and ignition magneto, more especially of the flywheel type, having several lighting coils connected in series and adapted to have currents induced in them successively, means are provided for shortcircuiting coils which have no induced current therein. The stationary armature c arranged within the rotating magnet system a carries an ignition winding e on its central shank d and lighting coils g, h on the limbs f, f<1>. The oscillating contact i preferably actuated by the cam of the ignition interrupter and connected to the common terminal of the windings g, h co-operates with fixed contacts m, l connected respectively to the output terminal of the winding g and with earth so that the coils are short circuited alternately.
