Abstract
527,969. Magnetos. SOC. ANON. SFRUTTAMENTO BREVETTI ELETTROMECCANICI. Feb. 22, 1939, No. 5935. Convention date, Feb, 22, 1938. [Class 35] That portion of the casing of a magneto of the type comprising a magnet rotating on a vertical shaft which forms the stationary portion of the distributer is formed in two coaxial portions, forming a cup-shaped member in which the armature yoke and winding are enclosed. The rotating portion of the distributer is secured to the top of the interrupter cam 14 on the end of the magnet shaft 6 and the fixed portion consists of two parts 18, 23 enclosing the conductors 19, 24 respectively. The armature yoke 21 and winding 20 are in the space enclosed by the portion 23. The magnet is provided with polepieces 29a, 29b at its opposite ends forming four poles, the poles of the armature being 90 degrees apart.
