375,616. Jet propulsion apparatus for boats. RIGBY, W., 24A, Beverley Road, Anerley, London. Sept. 10, 1931, No. 25358. [Class 114.] A boat is provided with a continuous pipe having an outboard pair of limbs rearwardly directed and an intermediate portion of zig-zag form disposed above a space in which a heating apparatus is fitted. A boat a has a pipe c which is bent into zig-zag form e and its ends protrude into the water at d. These ends may be provided with swivel connections whereby the boat mav be reversed. In the case of toys, the heating apparatus is a metal box b adapted to contain fuel, such as solid methylated spirit. Alternatively the box is omitted and the metal hull acts as the container.
