Abstract

304,563. Winkler, G., and Meyer, H. June 29, 1928. Rafts; detachable propelling installations.-A collapsable tubular raft 1 is fitted with an outboard motor 8 placed in the stern of the raft which is divided from the main portion by a transverse vertical partition 4 attached to the bottom member 2 and carrying the motor. The partition 4 carries a top flat transverse member 9 which rests on the top of the tubular portion of the raft, or, in a modification, is situated somewhat lower. The motor is supported by a removable member 7, which fits into top and bottom sockets 6, 5 carried by the partition.
