Abstract

243,157. Hill, H. C. Nov. 19, 1924. Hulls.-In shallow draught vessels, the bottom is formed with a central archway c running from bow to stern thus forming a semi-twin hull with twin sterns and stern posts and two rudders. A central keelson a extends longitudinally of the hull and forms a watertight bulkhead to which the frames or transverse bulkheads are attached. the latter being watertight and extending to the deck. A paddle wheel may be disposed in the central archway c.
