[Class 44.] To enable a doorplate to be moved laterally with respect to a cylindrical lock casing, the latter is mounted in a bush D which is provided on the outside with a flange d<1> large enough to cover an enlarged hole in the doorplate. The bush is held against the doorplate by a flat spring E, Fig. 6, or a coil spring F, Fig. 4.
