Abstract

388,198. Locks &c. NETTLE FOLD & SONS, Ltd., 163, Euston Road, London, and BRYAN, S. P., 45, Lea Road, Wolverhampton. Feb. 12, 1932, No. 4177. [Class 44.] An ornamental cover e for a rim latch or lock is secured to the latch casing a by a screw or to the door. To relieve the cover of stress, the bolt is guided by forwardly projecting lugs d on the casing or on a locking plate. The cover e may be composed of an artificial resin and the edges of the bolt aperture g may be reinforced with metal. The striking plate may be formed of ornamental material reinforced with metal. The latch casing a may be formed of two sheet metal pressings having holes c for mounting screws. Specification 359,226 is referred to in the Provisional Specification.
