[Class 44.] For detachably connecting the bolt A of a lock or latch with the sliding.,lath B actuated by the follower, the inner end of the shank b of the bolt is provided with one or more lateral projections c and the upturned lug h of the lath has an opening i of shape adapted to permit the passage of the end of the shank of the bolt but to be secured thereto by an angular movement. This construction allows the bolt to be reversed.
