[Class 114.] A screw propeller blade # is provided with a recess c between two wings d, e at the trailing: edge. Each blade is attached to the boss along a helical line and the outer part is bent over so that a line drawn tangentially to the outer edgea of the blade makes an angle of 45‹ with an imaginary cylinder surrounding the propeller.. The boss is shaped as a truncated cone h with the larger cross section in front, or alternatively is formed as a double cone.
