[Class 103 (i).] In a trailer-vehicle front-wheel brake which is applied when the trailer overruns the tractor or the draw-bar of the trailer is disconnected from the tractor, a spring-pressed coupling- pin a is slidably and rotatably housed within the Y-shaped draw-bar c<2> and, at its rearward end, is slidably and rotatably mounted in a sleeve d to which is jointed at d<1> a rod e suspended at its inner end from the trailer frame by an arm f and connected by a link g to the brake-operating mechanism. The rear-wheel brakes may be operated by being directly coupled to the front-wheel braking system.
