[Class 106 (i).] A watch-shaped golf scorer with dials and pointers in which the adjusted numerals are made visible behind small windows in the dial, by means of radially arranged numeral wheels operated by a pusher pin is characterized in that the wheel axes, arranged parallel to the baseplate are seated within a groove concentrically arranged with regard to the central pointer arbor. An operating or pusher pin 12, when depressed by the operator, actuates a pivoted plate lever 34, and by means of a link 32 and pin 28 rotates a ratchet wheel 27 through one step. The ratchet wheel engages a pin 48, Fig. 3, on a pair of spring-controlled levers 45, 47, and by means of a fork 53 and sliding pawl 51 rotates the relevant numeral wheel 3 through one step to display the next numeral through the dial plate. The arbors of the numeral wheels are mounted in a concentric groove 4<2>. The operating pin 12 carries a pinion 14 engaging a gear wheel 15 so that by rotating the operating pin the sliding pawl 51 may be brought into co-operation with any of the numeral wheels 3, at the same time setting a pointer 23 to indicate the relevant numeral wheel. A restoring plate 18, Figs. 3 and 4, which is also rotated by the rotation of the operator pin, actuates by means of a bevelled edge 54 and a spring 55, the heart hammers 7, Fig. 4, for zeroizing the numeral wheels. The axes of the heart hammers 7 are mounted in a groove situated concentrically of the centre of the scorer. At each axial movement of the operating pin a swivel 57, Fig. 2, pivoted to the plate lever 34 imparts a rotary movement to a wheel 59 carrying a units pointer 66, Fig. 7. Transfer from the units pointer to a tens pointer 56 is effected by gearing 64, 67. When the hand 23 has passed the eighteenth aperture a cam on the gear wheel 15 liberates a hammer 70 which then zeroizes the units and tens pointers by means of heart cams 69, 691.
