Abstract

288,519. Mayer, M. April 7, 1927, [Convention date]. Twenty-four hour dials.-A front masking disc a has twelve holes b through which may be seen one or other of two sets of hour numerals 1-12 2 and 13-24. A ring d carries these hour numerals and is set in a recess c in the back of the disc a. This ring may be adjusted to show one or other set of numerals by means of opposite ratchet teeth e on the ring d and a double pawl f operated automatically from the clockwork movement, or the adjustment may be by means of a hand lever g fulcrumed to the watch case and pivoted to the ring d. Fig. 4 shows this lever g in two different positions.
