[Class 139.] Dials and hands.- A device for indicating the time error of clocks comprises a manually-set ring C bearing diametrically opposite pointer marks and rotatable above a scale A so as to indicate, when set, the number of minutes fast or slow by which the clock differs from true time. An alternative device B comprises a pointer movable over a vertical face suitably divided. The device B may be used in conjunction with a date index or other writing- table commodity.
