[Class 81 (ii).] A surgical bandage comprises a long and a short strip connected by tapes or their equivalent, one end of each tape being secured to the long strip and the other end to one end of the short strip, the other end of this strip being slidably mounted on the tapes to form an adjustable loop. The tapes 3 may slide in slots 6 in the short strip 2, and may be detachably secured to either strip. Thus they may pass also through slots in the end 7 of the short strip and be secured to buckles fixed thereon, or the slots 6 may be replaced by hooks or clips into which the tapes can be slipped. Alternatively, the tapes are provided with hooks engaging eyelets on the long or short strip, or vice versa, or the tapes are knotted after passing through the eyelets. Pockets may be provided in the strip 2 to accommodate splints. In use, the strip 2 is placed around the limb or other part, the long strip 1 being drawn tight and wound in the usual manner.
