Abstract

475,071. Wrist-straps WILSON, A. July 17, 1936, No 19901. [Class 81 (ii)] A wrist-strap comprises a length a of bandage having at one end an adhesive tab b or other means of securing to the wrist, a strip d of elastic webbing or like extensible material secured to the bandage, and a strip g of inextensible material having a buckle k secured to the strip d. In use, tab b is secured to, and the strips a, d wound round the wrist under tension, strip g is then passed around the whole and secured by buckle k, the end being slipped through a loop e. Strip g may extend outwardly from instead of overlying strip d and may be secured by a rivet instead of stitching as shown. The tab b may be replaced by a buckle through which strip a is placed to form a running loop.
