Abstract

377,410. Improving appearance of the face. FARRELL, M. J., 27, Gurner Street, Paddington, near Sydney, Australia. July 10, 1931, No. 19934. [Class 131.] An appliance for eradicating facial wrinkles comprises a pair of tabs H of adhesive material secured to the opposite ends of an elastic tape or band C adjustable in length by means of a slide fastener or buckle D. In use, the tabs are attached to the skin of the wearer and the tape or band is passed over the head under the hair. The tabs consist of a light fabric the top edge A of which is folded over and provided with a slit which is engaged by a hook B on the end of the tape or band C. The tabs may be masked by hair F either secured thereto or provided with a loop for attaching to the hooks B. The adhesive on the tabs may be protected by a muslin strip G which is peeled off before the appliance is used.
